About Me

My goal with this blog is to not only inform you about my progress in the journey of leadership but to help me create healthy habits of journaling and become the best person I can be!

This is more personal than most of the blog posts i'm sure you have been reading but I feel it would be beneficial for me to let you know. I don't know if you knew this but Mason Woodley and I have dated since senior year of high school. We know a lot about each other and have much respect and love for one another. We recently broke up because of some upsetting circumstance and it has been a very difficult time for me and Mason as well. We had a long talk about how we are going to make things work to make our Taylor's Gift Foundation project the best it can be and not let our recent personal drama get in the way. That being said, this is not going to be easy and puts extra pressure on us to be professional and treat this as a business situation. You're not always going to be happy with the people you work with but you must be able to put personal issues aside and work towards a common goal with respect. I'm not telling you this to feel sorry for me or to go easier on us as we work together to make this legacy project amazing. I just felt that it might make me more comfortable in the classroom. I am keeping my head up and using this time to really work on myself to become someone who bears the qualities that I see in the people I look up to most. I hope you're having a great Sunday and I'll see you in class tomorrow!

  1. Sounds like you and Mason both have been dealing with some issues that could challenge you. I'm glad to see your commitment to professionalism in your working relationship...if you hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known. That says a rgeat deal about your willingness to work together to accomplish your goals, despite the personal issues.
